The BungeeBones widget directory is a web 2.0 directory script that provides for a system similar to Adsense® style website advertising but in the form of pay per action rather than pay per click.

With the Adsense system links are placed along the tops, sides, or bottoms of your content pages. We believe this serves as a temptation to your website visitor and actually lures your precious traffic away from your site. Why would a webmaster want to do that?

BungeeBones, instead, asks you to create a separate page for our directory widget. It is not near your content but rather is off by itself. You can place a link to it wherever and on whatever pages you wish. Our system waits for that visitor to have a thorough and complete opportunity to investigate everything your site has to offer. Getting your own widget directory is easy!

It is available in your BungeeBones user control panel which you get access to by simply registering and logging in to the BungeeBones website. The only catch is that you must submit at least one link into the directory before the link to the widget wizard will appear in your user control panel (i.e. you have to return to your user control panel after you add your first link).

After you have added your first link, return to the control panel and find the link that says "Get A Directory "Widget". There you will find an easy to follow form that will guide you through the process of creating the code for your site. You simply copy and paste that code.

Installing your own widget directory is easy!

If you know how to add a page to your website you have about all the technical skill needed to add the directory. You will get two small blocks of code. One block gets inserted at the very beginning of the page . The other block of code goes into the body of the page. And that is it! And we at BungeeBones are available to help you with any installation problems you encounter so don't let your own skills (or lack of) keep you from adding a high quality web directory for your site visitors.

Getting more web traffic is easy!

Getting more traffic for our members is the main reason for the widget directory system. The BungeeBones widget directory functions as a combination of web directory and link exchange. As more webmasters install the directory on their websites (encouraged by commissions of course) the amount of traffic sent to the links in the system increases.

But we really have no way of knowing (and don't really care to know) how much traffic a new widget site is able to send.
