I've started work on enabling FaceBook users to register, login, and share BungeeBones with their friends using FaceBook Connect. FaceBook Connect and BungeeBones both use similar technologies in the area of remote database access. It is a promising field, especially when used with such things as "the cloud". Work is close to being completed on bringing standards to the technology which will help break even more ground.

Major improvements for the Wordpress plugin. I was thinking narrowly and had only designed the plugin to work in a sub directory (well, that's where I run it :-) but now it can operate at root and any sub-directory level. Also built a demo of it operating at a root level (and the entire website) at www.advertisite.us

BungeeBones for Joomla - The Wordpress plugin went so well that I made the BungeeBones web directory script into a Joomla! component as well. For those with a Joomla! site it is now available and makes the install of a remotely hosted link exchange/web directory as easy as a matter of installation of a component.

We are in the process of transitioning site to Joomla. I had tried quite a few CMS (Content Management Systems) in the past but always found them too restrictive whenever I wanted to add a custom feature. I have found Joomla very flexible however and with my weakness in the graphical sifde of web design I've decided to go with Joomla. They have done a very nice job. You will probably see a lot of changes going on as a result.
